Founder & Executive Director
Linda first felt the Lord's call to open a home for pregnant women needing a safe place to live in 2011. In December 2013, she began working steadily on this vision, conducting research, attending conferences, and meeting with organizations working with this population. Linda is an attorney with 30 years experience in special education, disability, elder and family law. In addition to founding and operating a small law firm, she has 13 years experience in nonprofit management, most recently serving as the Compliance Officer for a large nonprofit in Dutchess County. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Mount Holyoke College and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Linda cares deeply about offering pregnant women real, practical, sustainable help to support them towards self-sufficient motherhood.
Jenn describes herself as a child of God, a wife, a mom, a photographer and friend to many. Serving as Church Board Secretary in a church that inspires and encourages missional work, she’s grown over the years in her desire for opportunities to help others. God gave her the gift of photography and she is always looking for ways to honor Him with this gift. In 2016 she heard an ad on the Sound of Life radio station for Faith House. She thought God was calling her to use her skills to photograph the young moms. The gift of photography can be very inspiring and motivational. After going to her first volunteer meeting in July 2016, she realized God had other plans for the time being. Currently serving as Office Manager, she helps out with the website, data entry, emails, phone calls, banquet planning, graphic design and any other needs that arise. She’s very thankful for taking part in this beautiful ministry and looks forward to growing along with it!
